Welcome to Honors Anatomy and Physiology! I am your instructor Simon Curtis. This semester we will examine the fundamental concepts of the human body including anatomical structures, physiological systems, and body functions.  Students will apply the principles of physiology to human health and evaluate the applications and career implications of physiology and anatomy principles. Anatomy and Physiology includes hands-on laboratory investigations using appropriate scientific inquiries.

About Me

My Name is Simon Curtis and I have been teaching High school Science for 8 years. This year I will be teaching Biology and Anatomy & Physiology but have also taught Earth & Environmental, AP Environmental, Astronomy, Sports Medicine, Health and PE.  I have 4 children ages 11,9,6 & 3 so I stay VERY busy when I am outside of the classroom.  Some of my hobbies are camping, fishing, exercising, and hanging out with my little ones.

Favorite Music: Country (but I listen to everything including Rap, rock, classical.....)

Favorite place to visit: Beach or anywhere tropical

Favorite Hobbies: Anything outside:)
