A Normal Day in Math Class:

1. Warm-up (problem students see again on their EOG Weekly), go over answers, and answer any questions.

2. Homework Time: students are given 10 minutes to work on their EOG Weekly, while Ms. Craft walks around and answers any questions students might have.

3. Essential Question is addressed and a discussion on students' thoughts and ideas.

4. Cornell Notes on EQ or guided examples (all done in students Interactive Notebook)

5. Practice Problems - Students complete ENTIRELY by themselves!

6. Go over answer to practice problems and students are given 3 minutes to find their own mistakes. Again ENTIRELY by themselves!

7. Whole Class Discussion or writing assignment on what they missed and why? Could they find their mistake? What was it? Will you remember next time not to make the same mistake? How?

8. Assessment on chromebooks if they are reserved for that day on today's EQ or EXIT ticket aka Ticket Out the Door

9. Homework

Agendas are posted on the board EVERYDAY! Agendas include: Day, Date, EQ, I can statements..., vocabulary, and agenda for the class.

.25 Quizzes - (25%)
.40 Tests - (40%)

1 - Accelerated Math Class (36 students, aka math gurus)
2 - 7th grade Math Classes (32 students and 28 students, aka math gurus)
