Student directions: the embedded media are supposed to serve as a guide NOT the actual assignment. The major objective of this project is for you to collect data on your US State of CHOICE. I've listed all 49 OTHER states than NC. You can make it look like a brochure or use the media to guide your assignment OR just do bullet points.  You may do this in bullet or sentence for like the first form or more creative with drawings of the flag, flowers, trees, and other state symbols please be as creative as possible!!!. However you choose, you can draw on regular paper and turn in by hand or create a drawing through Google drawings/docs and submit. Regardless, please take your time. I kinda hope you guys enjoy the assignment, it's supposed to help with science grades. Here are the exact data points you need:

5. Region of the US: South, North, Midwest, Southwest or West?

6. Year of statehood and rank--(Alaska 50th 1948)

7. Climate--average rainfall, temperature

8. Economic Output--coal, gas, medical supplies, internet ideas

9. State Symbols: bird, tree, flower, insect, song

10. Famous People: Michael Jordan, Sandra Bullock (NC)

11. State Flag (illustrated)

12. Neighboring states

13. Composition of race/ethncity 

14. Historical Landmarks

15. Sports teams(college and/or pro)
